The energy on Proof of Youth is explosive and infectious. Stylistically, it’s pretty similar to the comic-strip sampladelia of their debut, but with crisper production values and a Technicolor punch. She doesn’t ask to what degree the mother should be turned out, nor which house should be rocked. The question that The Go! Team’s emcee Ninja poses in new single Grip Like a Vice is a pretty straightforward one. The album was released on 31 January 2011. In 2008 The Go! Team contributed the song "Templates from Home" to Bruce Parry's Survival International charity album, Songs for Survival. Like "The Power Is On", the song was also used in the film Whip It, but actually does appear on the film's soundtrack release. ![]() The second single from Proof of Youth, "Doing It Right", was released on 3 September 2007 and received daytime radio play from BBC Radio 1 and soundtracked the BBC's launch of the iPlayer.
